There’s been a lot of interesting sports stories this season, from MSU going to the NIT Final Four, Omaha and now a bowl, to the firing of Ed Orgeron and Jeff Bower and Ole Miss being ranked in basketball.

Finally after 10 months of listneing to road noise and the wind blowing, I got a stereo for my car. I even stepped up to cd’s and mp3 with it. Don’t know what I’m gonna do with all those cassettes though. And I’m probably have a hard time with all that new technology.

I got an Alabama state champs shirt, a new State polo, State phone cover, and my Mom in-law bought my bowl tickets. I also got a new phone, coveralls, Season 5 & 6 of Smallville, complete Seinfeld series(getting it for myself), a set of magicians cards(I’m Bob Copperfield!), and various State baby items(rattle, bib, t-shirt, growth chart, mobile, onsie, booties, etc). Santa must have forgiven me for football season because I was HORRIBLE during football season. You guys know!

Oh yeah, I forgot that the wife took me to a hockey game for a Xmas gift. We went and saw the Mississippi Riverkings play the Texas Brahmas. They employ the use of cowbells at the games! When the crowd gets quiet, Christopher Walken comes on and says, “I got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!” We had a blast! She got me a Riverkings cap and is going to get me a jersey the next time we go. And yes, there is beer! And mixed drinks too!

I got a camo fleece pullover, couple of shirts and a tie, John Wayne DVD set, Nirvana box set, gloves and socks, a new coffee maker (b/c I don’t clean the one I have), a Chili’s gift card, and a “Football Is Better In Starkville” t-shirt.
Then I got $$$ that’s gonna have to go toward upcoming student loans.
