A chance to hear Coach Polk speak

January 10, 2008

For those of you interested in hearing Ron Polk speak, he’ll be in Booneville as the featured speaker at the 2nd Annual NEMCC Baseball First Pitch Banquet on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Frank Haney Union.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 each from any Northeast baseball player or diamond girl. Tickets will be sold at the door on Monday at the Frank Haney Union for $20 per person.

A silent auction will begin 6 p.m. and all proceeds from the event will benefit Northeast baseball.

I will say he’s very entertaining to listen to. Believe it or not, he’s quite funny. For those of you who have heard him speak, you know what I mean.
