Your year to note: 1986
What’s so special about that year, you ask?
The last time Mississippi State failed to miss both the SEC tournament and an NCAA regional was in 1986.
I guess you can say after the streak hit “Blackjack” the Bulldogs will now start over.

instead of talking about how bad we suck…
Why don’t we talk about how USC gets away with every recruiting violation, and player violation every year! In more than 1 sport. Reggie Bush, now Mayo, and McKnight. No one gets the talent they get because of the name of the school. USC and FSU need to be banned from sports

Also notable in 1987, the Cards lost to the Twins in the World Series.

IMA, USC has definitely looked bad. But in this case, based on the ESPN story I saw, it was more of the Agency than USC.
