No way in hell Alabummer is the #11 team in all the land.

I’ve been watching that ECU team. They’ve beat two ranked opponents to start the season off with. They’ve been very impressive. Both were at home though.

ECU is very impressive. However, the first game was in Charlotte and there were more Tech fans than ECU fans at the game. How on Earth is Bama 11, not in a few weeks will they be.

I was at the game last night, and I will be honest…I’m not looking forward to next week’s game with Auburn. Hopefully the guys will be fired up and ready to go. Was there anyone else upset with Croom shutting everything down in the middle of the 3rd? For once, I would just like to see a MSU team just really blow somebody out! I can think of 10 teams left on the schedule that would do it to us in a second. I can understand not wanting to get anybody hurt, but I think some of these guys need more game experience. What are your thoughts? Am I looking at this with the wrong perspective?

I think that we must protect our best players, that’s all I am going to say

I was ok with shutting things down when he did. Don’t want any injuries. The game was in hand, and it was good to get other guys a few snaps. I think that’s just the way Cropm is.

The 11th ranked team in the country should be able to gain more than 38 total yds (0 yds rushing) in the first half against Tulane.

Alabama should be around 20th and ECU 11th. But polls are a popularity contest.

Brad, the Carroll article great. My main concern is still leadership. Other than that we looked good (a smoothe following offense).

i kinda wanted one more drive from the first O….granted we won big but there were still some quesitonable playcalling at times but it was a lot better than the la tech game….i dont want to say i was disappointed with the o-line but i just thought there would be bigger holes for our backs to run through….the backs and the line still had a good game though….it really is kind of hard to take a lot from this game but we have the W but we are going to still have to play better i think to get the W next weekend….especially none of those stupid fumbles….hope croom and boys can pull it together…..

I had my camera ready for Peguess to break one –
I am a big tight end fan, wish we’d go to TE more, but guess today’s game plans/roles/formation different then when I palyed – 60s.
I do not think it is CC character to run up the score – all though I’d was in the mood for it – it was good to see Tyson under center some – look good to me ( need good QB backup) and see Ridell.
Feel State is goingto have to play all 4 quarters against Auburn – cannot not start the game out sputtering like we did SELA game. Got to fire all 8-cylinders.
Be a big win for sure and I believe Dawgs can do it if they want to.
Wonder if the Tub wil lbe complaining about cowbells again – to the point they will be looking for them more.
Agree Bama should not be #11. Where was/is Auburn ranked — 9th?

Forgot to mention in Dawg’s win think Bailey said it best once they got into the groove of the game, figured SELA out, as they were last game they knew they were better teams and played like it.
Big test Auburn – proof in the pudding – be a big win for sure – not only the fans but Dawgs learn a lot about themselves.
