It’s amazing what winning can do. Just hope it continues

Ahhh. Shouldn’t that be “want” instead of “won’t”?

I was about to say the same thing mj!

And GG gets paid to know these things! 😀

I have no earthly idea what you guys are talking hit. LOL! That’s why you should always proof copy before hitting the “Publish” button. You’d think I’d know that by now.

this class looks like it s going to be special….if we can add kendrick hardy and maybe some o-line then it will be complete….but arent we running out of room?? how many scholarships do we get…..25??

  6. Gregg Ellis Says:

    Yep. 25.

With the addition of connor i dont see us getting kendrick hardy. He wants to play soon and often and I think he will commit somewhere else. I agree we need some OL, but to me it is more important to get some CB, LB and WR. We are losing 2 LB to graduation after this year and 3 DB, not to mention we need upgrades at the reciever possition. To complete this class we need to land Chad Bumphis, and Dennis Thames. I would love hardy to commit as well but dont see it happening but another RB like Tracy Lampley as a change of pace would be nice.

Didn’t Kendrick Hardy commit somewhere else this week? Seems like I read or heard that somewhere.

“Well, it appears Mississippi State is where a lot of top athletes want to continue their football dreams.” If they can stay out of jail.

  10. Gregg Ellis Says:

jw, you’re a little late on that. Lightingreb has done his damage. No need for you to try to duplicate his actions.

    good save GG.

And olemissy is just the place players go to continue “thug life”

Just playing rebels, don’t start it up again 🙂

What the hell is going on. Nobody from Biggersville? Just kidding guys, the guys from our smallest Alocorn Co. school are damn atheletic. Tojo(Montario Patterson) could be an asset if they find the place for him in the SEC. Just like Alex Carpenter that transferred back to JUCO at Northeast.

Hey Greg- I know how you are always complaining about the press box at MSU, however it appears to have been renovated? I just saw a picture on msstate.edu of the video board progress, and the press box is completely closed in. Here is the image address:

  14. Gregg Ellis Says:

Nah, wadf06, the windows are closed. It’s still the same ol, same ol. It’s that it’s all that bad. Just needs to be updated.

The Kendrick Hardy ship has sailed. He wants to wait it out, and we don’t have the time to wait on him.

Montrell Conner is gonna be an absolute stud. His highlight videos are amazing. Can’t wait to see him in maroon and white!

Hey chris, having graduated from Biggerville back in the day and now livin in Meridian, the only downfall the Small schools have is the lack of linemen who can play with the big boys. Most small schools have guys weighing 150-190 lbs playing line, most of the time the skill guys are bigger LOL. But as far as talent, its good to see the Biggersville boys can still hand it to Alcorn Central (what are they now 3A or 4A).

  17. jbuzz74 Says:

Hated to see Carpenter go back to JUCO, he is actually a better athlete than TOJO Paterson.

The group of “commits” looks real good right now but remember, they don’t actually sign until next year. A lot can happen, academic wise for them, football wins and losses for State between now and then. Other schools don’t stop recruiting them either. I think we lost a couple of “commits” this year if I remember correctly. I’m hopeful but want hold by breath until I see the paper product.
