And then there were the defensive backs

Call it the halfway point, if you wish.

In today’s Daily Journal, its Part IV of the position-by-position breakdown. And today’s, it’s the defensive backs.

There’s no questioning the depth, even without the services of Anthony Johnson for the year and Derek Pegues for the season opener. And without doubt, this group did their part a year ago to help MSU garner eight wins with all the picks returned for six.

Can they do it again? We’ll see.

Now, there is the slight chance you’ve missed the other three position stories. If so, don’t fret. Here you go:
Running backs on Sunday.
Linebackers on Monday.
Receivers on Tuesday.

As for the rest of the schedule:
Offensive line on Thursday
Defensive line on Friday
Special teams on Saturday
Quarterbacks on Sunday

Good that Sly gave him a game off for not goingto class.

Hope we don’t need him at Ruston.

Think Sly would have done it regardless.

Here is mine – MSU 28 Ruston 0.

Well, meridiandog, it really wasn’t sly. It’s rule set by the university.
