Kentucky-MSU: Pregame Notes

by

No lineup changes. The two-deep I was given has Jimmie Holmes starting at left defensive end, but it’s Sean Ferguson, which is what was in today’s paper. Quite unsettled at that spot all year.

They’re now testing the big honkin’ video board. Still a few contrary panels, but still looks dang good. Now, for the basics:

Records: Kentucky 5-3 (1-3 SEC), MSU 3-5 (1-3)

Last meeting: MSU won 31-14 last year in Lexington. The Wildcats had six turnovers that game.

TV: None, unless you live in Kentucky.

Current conditions: 69º, clear skies, ESE wind at 5 mph.

Press box conditions: Shady, as usual, with a nice viewing angle of the big honkin’ video board.

Notable stat: MSU hasn’t won two straight games this season.

Best postgame option: Men’s basketball team has a 6 p.m. exhibition game against Montevallo at The Hump.
