On the (Ugh) Links

by

Ugh. Two reasons I say that: A) It’s Monday and the caffeine hasn’t kicked in yet; B) It describes Mississippi State’s football team.

In that spirit, here is today’s look back at the Bulldogs’ 32-7 loss to No. 1 Alabama.

Up this week for MSU: Arkansas (4-6, 1-5), which has been playing better ball lately. That’s thanks in part to its Obama-like offense, which Nate Allen of the Northwest Arkansas Times says is working because it spreads the wealth, so to speak. And yet the Razorbacks aren’t satisfied with where they are. Maybe that’s because they lead the nation in sacks allowed.

On tap today: Coach Sylvester Croom‘s weekly teleconference at 10 a.m., Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino‘s weekly press conference at 1:30 p.m. (I’ll be listening in), and the Bulldog basketball team hosts UL-Monroe at 7 p.m.
