Blog Bag: Late Edition

Sorry so late with this. Monday was busy. I’m en route to Starkville, so hit me. Yes, I’m blogging and driving. I’m a professional. Don’t try this at home. Or rather, in your car.

go ahead and ask the hardest question….crxxm, are you going to resign or fire wxxdy??….i know he still wont answer it but maybe if people just keep asking him that, he will just quit…

but seriously, how many recruits do you think we will lose if crxxm stays or goes??….

what are the football practices like, because the more i read and hear about them, the more i hear they are pretty relaxed and lackadaisical??…

  2. BirdZ! Says:

Crxxm is in a golf cart. Can’t get much more relaxed than that, unless he has a hammock on the sideline.

  3. bigdraws Says:

Is it true that the long snapper was injured during practice due to horseplay?

  4. bantyrooster1 Says:

Ask Croom how he intends on motivating the players during practice now that the possibility of a winning season and a bowl game are gone.

  5. shmuley Says:

    BLocke head,

You ain’t got a hair on your flat a$$ if you don’t ask sith lord some form of the question posed by bigdraws. Instead of confrontationally posing the question, you could ask, “How was Aaron Feld injured? What were the circumstances of his injury?”

  6. maroon1white Says:

Is the sound for the Jumbo-tron ready for saturday? Who is in charge of the music? I hope they don’t pay this person. Who just starts a song AT THE BEGINNING” then just cuts it off abruptly? Your supposed to take the best 30 seconds to a minute of a song then lower the volume gradually as it ends.

BTW, I talked to a guy who’s company has a sky box and he said that you can’t see the jumbo-tron from the sky boxes. I would be pissed.

  7. Brad Locke Says:

Oh, I’ve got that one covered, shmuley. BTW, my buttocks are like chiseled granite, or something.

  8. bantyrooster1 Says:

Brad, I know you don’t cover the high school scene anymore but did you have a heart attack when you heard Proctor and his group of russians actually did the right thing and overturned Leland’s win over Walnut last Friday night?

  9. msu21 Says:

Could you please ask Sly what was his motive for wearing the 3-piece suit with the overcoat during pre-game and walking around shaking some of the fan’s hands? Was he saying good-bye to Bryant-Denny Stadium? Or was he running for mayor of Tuscaloosa? Or even govenor for the state of Alabama? We deserve to know!!

  10. imabulldog Says:

all you need to know MSU21 is that it was-what Croom is, and that’s class. Besides I’ve been there at visiting stadiums during player walkthroughs, there is maybe a couple of hundred in the stadium, it’s not like he was running the sidelines giving high fives or something. He did that at Baton Rouge the first yr I worked with him. Just class

  11. Brad Locke Says:

Yes, Banty, I was a little stunned the MHSAA overturned it. Voted 10-1 in favor, I believe. Not like them to make such controversial decisions, but it was the right one. That game should’ve been over and done.

Here is the link to what was online today, which doesn’t tell you much, but there’s another link on there to today’s story that explains what happened:

  12. msu21 Says:

Worked with him ima? You must have been a manager? Is that right?

  13. thingreenline Says:

What is Croom’s definition of “Finish”? We hear it from him and the players all the time….”We have to learn to finish.”

But how does he differentiate “finishing” from piss-poor playcalling?
