A Feast of Links

Big day for me today. I mean, yeah, I’ve got a ton of writing to do. But more importantly, today’s the annual Thanksgiving feast at work. And then tonight, another feast at church. This takes a lot of mental and physical preparation. Had a good practice run at the Alabama game, where the pregame meal consisted of turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole and pecan pie.

Anyway, I also have some links for y’all to feast on, haha. My report from yesterday’s weekly press conference:

Story on finishing strong

Notebook, focusing on receivers Brandon McRae and Jamayel Smith and long snapper Aaron Feld.

From the other side of the Mississippi River, we can read about brothers Casey and Nathan Dick both getting snaps at quarterback this week.

And don’t forget, the Bulldog basketball team (2-0) is back in action tonight against North Alabama. The ladies opened their season with a win last night over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 94-52.

I think that pumpkin pie should have been added to the list. Also sweet potato pie along with the casserole. Cornbread dressing and not this store bought stuff. Well, maybe wild turkey too!

I like the turkey, some green bean casserole, jiblet gravy, from real potatoes mashed potatoes, real dressing and some fresh made hot roll–my mouth is watering just thinking about it….no desserts please

I get tired of thanksgiving food, Id rather have a rack of ribs or hit up Popeye’s or something, give me the 10 strips-spicy, 2 biscuits and some mash potatoes xtra gravy 🙂

Anyway, I guess what McCrae is refering to as “stuff” would be… A terrible Off.Cord. and a terrible Off. Line.

  5. 2thdoc Says:

Ima, you should be banned for wanting Popeye’s over Thanksgiving food. Even Taco Bell can’t compete with Turkey and dressing.

Both Taco Smell or Blackeye’s aren’t anywhere near good food….They do have a purposeful quality about them…they both are great bowel movement activist…Thank you…

i LIVE for dressing at Thanksgiving…in no way am i kidding, my grandmother still cooks and she makes a dish of dressing for the family and then one for me…ha…but thanksgiving is going to kill me this year…i have been on a diet and working out and running and stuff trying to get back in shape and i know i will probably gain 10 pounds next week…

but back to football, feld was hit in the eye because of the carlson prank like i said in a different thread….crxxm doesnt want to admit it because it will look bad on him…then he goes on to say, “thats the kind of things we have been dealing with all year”….well coach, this is childish crap that you are resposible for putting to a stop…i understand football is a game and should be fun, but come on…it doesnt help that carlson is awful!!…

By the end of Christmas day I don’t even want to look at another turkey and dressing meal. That’s why we have Christmas at dad’s house that night. After a long day we all meet up for filet mignon, baked potatoe, salad, bread, and a few ice cold miller lites.

  9. imabulldog Says:

Draws we eat filet on Christmas day too!

Get it from a guy named Joe Sherman in Meridian. That’s and twiced cakes cheese potatos
