McRae Update; Byrne Blogs

by

WR Brandon McRae, who suffered a nasty break of his right tibia in the Egg Bowl, had a successful follow-up surgery today. This one was done to clean out the wound and prevent infection. He will be released from the hospital tomorrow. The injury is not expected to be career-threatening.

Also, AD Greg Byrne has posted a “special edition” of his blog. Nothing much new there, but worth a look.

As I type this, the Bulldogs are having a team meeting with Byrne and assistant coaches. No player access for the media, but there will be quotes made available later. And maybe we can catch up with some assistant coaches.

That’s good news about McRae. Glad he’ll be able to play again, and I wish him a speedy recovery!
