A Christmas Wish for MSU

It’s Christmas Eve, which means most of us have suddenly realized that tomorrow is Christmas Day. Thus, stores are packed with procrastinators.

I don’t know about you, but I’m not good at finding good presents for people. I pretty much need them to tell me what they want, which kind of ruins the surprise (although my wife hates surprises, so it kind of works out with her gifts). What I’d like to know is what you would give the Mississippi State athletic program, or any of its employees, for Christmas. Feel free to suspend reality for this exercise.

And in the quite likely event that I don’t post again until Friday: Merry Christ-mas.

Merry Christmas to everyone. I think we’re in a rebuilding spot in basketball so I’ll move my wish to the upcoming baseball season. I wish that we show a new revived energy in the program and win a division title and return to Omaha again. I’m a baseball guy so I wish all good things to Cohen in the upcoming season.

I’d give that maroon helmet a white facemask! Haha.

I would give GB a big attaboy for his two hc hires. I would also give our football program a stadium full of excited fans who will make noise for the entire game, not turn on their team, and get rid of the here we go again attitude whenever something bad happens. (How much confidence it must inspire to see your stands begin to empty during a winnable game.) Coach Stans gets less than 10 turnovers a game next year. Coach Cohen gets a rag…..to polish his first SEC champ trophy! Merry Christmas & GO DAWGS!

I’d give us the interlocked MSU logo back. How Nike has the rights to that is beyond me. I mean, it’s our acronym. Give it back Phil Knight!

i’d fire ever employee that had anything to do with the new logos. oh, wait, you said present. i’d upgrade the entire baseball stadium to make it the largest and nicest in the country again.

    What up boyz!

    For Christmas-for our beloved MSU…hmmmmm?

(1)I’d say a recruting class in the top 15-20.

(2)SEC champs and World Series appearence in Baseball

(3)I really, really, want a 9-3 2009 season, the Golden Egg and bowl victory over a big school. And that would be the beginning of excellence and recruting dominance for Mullen.

    (4) Basketball, just make thru the yr without embarassring the school 🙂

    (5) Andy K’s Punchout on PS3

*all of this is with reality aside as mentioned by BL

I’d like to give the Mississippi State athletic program a big hug for Christmas for the rebuilding they’re about to endure over the next two years in football.

Oh wait, we’re not supposed to be realistic. 😀

JUST KIDDING GUYS! Just a joke from a Rebel fan! Merry Christmas!

Wishing everyone a blessed Merry Christmas.

    Christmas Eve Prayer

Let us all close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. May we be delivered from evil by the blessing which Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.

May Christmas morning bring grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake.

In the New Year may we remember today’s decisions shape tomorrow’s outcomes.

When times are rough may we remember to turn in to our close and ready Source of comfort.

On New Year’s and every day may we remember that each new moment
    can be a fresh beginning.

I’d build a time machine and go back in time and kick Jackie and the Nike crew who designed the stupid looking interlocking MSU logo a good, stiff kick to the nuts. Then, we wouldn’t have someone who always brings it up. It was a crap logo then and still is now.

  10. farley662 Says:

    And world peace.
