Mullen Goes By His Own Rankings

by

The Associated Press has a recruiting story today that quotes MSU coach Dan Mullen. The topic is overlooked prospects, and as Mullen has coached at Bowling Green and Utah, he knows all about taking and molding players that weren’t highly sought. Mullen called sites like Rivals and Scout “a neat deal,” but he added, “I can tell you in the state of Mississippi, our top 25 rankings are very different than Scout’s or Rivals’ top 25 rankings, and those are the ones we go by.”

The part quoting Mullen is near the bottom of the story, but it’s a good read.

Nice pub for State with this article on USA Today. They could have picked any coach out of the SEC but they chose to quote ours. You hear that? Bulldogs are making noise nationally already.
