Coaches Pick LSU First, MSU Last

The SEC baseball coaches have cast their votes in the preseason poll. They expect LSU to win its 14th league championship, and Mississippi State was picked to finish where it wound up last season – last place. We shall see. By the way, the plan is to have an overview of the upcoming baseball season in tomorrow’s Journal. Here are the poll results.

    I will address that later in the week. But to be honest, even John Cohen isn’t 100 percent sure on that.

    We should be much improved. I am so excited about baseball this year. I’m not crazy, I seriously doubt we go to omaha, but we should be much improved.

    Yes, it is I, the pessimist. I also say the vote for U of M to be the SEC champ hasn’t looked at their history – they always, repeat always, choke down the stretch.
