Boy do we ever need a win here today. Alabama is slaughtering Ole Miss, so that helps us, but we can’t let the end of our season rest on other teams. Go Dawgs!

  2. darkcooger Says:

It look long enough to score, but that was 3 quick, pretty scores.

  3. darkcooger Says:

How many dunks must we miss this year? Holy crap.

  4. imabulldog Says:

Yeah really cooger, pretty easy considering you are placing the ball in the basket

  5. imabulldog Says:

we better go Zone if they start screening us like last time. They’ve already done it once

  6. Brad Locke Says:

At 11:59/1st half, Auburn leads 11-7. A missed dunk, a missed layup, and two bad turnovers by Osby in the last few minutes. And the Bulldogs are 0-for-5 from 3-point land.

  7. imabulldog Says:

Think if I was there, I’d be just as bored as I am sitting on the couch

  8. imabulldog Says:

zzzzzzzzzzzzz……zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…..zzzzzzzzz…zzzz…oh we made a free throw

  9. Brad Locke Says:

Phil Turner ends the Bulldogs’ scoreless drought of 7:18 with a free throw, then hits their first 3-pointer of the game for the first field goal in 8:17. At 7:21/1st half, Auburn’s up 20-11.

  10. thespear Says:

i dont think our guys realize what implications this game has, this is pitiful

  11. imabulldog Says:

this is shapin up like last time

  12. imabulldog Says:

how come we haven’t been able to make easy passes insside to JV the last week?!?!?

  13. thespear Says:

barrett shoulda known not to try to dunk on JV .

    Phil wants to win

  14. mathistondawg Says:

This is embarrassing. Good crowd, no intensity.

  15. mathistondawg Says:

  16. bulldognark82 Says:

I don’t have the game in AR, are we as bad as the game tracker is making us look?

  17. Brad Locke Says:

Wow, can’t leave guys that open. Back-to-back 3s by Auburn, which is now 7-12 from deep, has it at 36-20 with 1:51 left in the half.

  18. Brad Locke Says:

    Worse, 82. Much worse.

  19. mathistondawg Says:

holy friggin crap!!! 7-12 from behind the arc. That is what happens when you leave them unguarded behind the 3 pt line. We might as well spread out some, because we aren’t getting the rebounds anyway.

  20. bulldognark82 Says:

i think we have the worst 3pt defense in the nation!!! not sure but is sure does feel like it!

  21. mathistondawg Says:

this is shaping up to be a blowout at home, just like U of M today. Thank goodness it is baseball season. How bout those bulldogs again!!

  22. Brad Locke Says:

Mercifully, halftime comes. Auburn 38, MSU 21. The gruesome stats coming soon.

  23. Brad Locke Says:

    Stats, starting with MSU:
    • FGs: 7-26 (26.9%)
    • 3-point: 2-11 (18.2%)
    Scoring leaders:
    • Varnado 8
    • Turner 7

    Now Auburn:
    • FGs: 15-30 (50.0%)
    • 3-point: 7-12 (58.3%)
    Scoring leaders:
    • Rasheem Barrett 8
    • Three others with 6

And here’s a “wow” stat: Auburn’s bench has scored 18 points, MSU’s zero.

  24. bulldognark82 Says:

AR did this a couple of weeks ago and we came back in the second half, we can do it again! C-mon DAWGS!!!!

  25. spaceghost1 Says:

watching our basketball team is as painful as watching our football team under Croom

  26. leeearl Says:

On a run now, go State :o)

  27. leeearl Says:

    Here we come, baby!

  28. leeearl Says:

    7-0 run!

  29. leeearl Says:

We have sucked since the double-OT LSU, ya’ll think we just can’t recover, and on top of that another double-OT Bama loss?

  30. leeearl Says:

Can I just say , that Phil Turner is a player I really enjoy playing with his intensity and will to win…

  31. imabulldog Says:

thats why Phil is my MVP- takin over with passes and shots!

  32. imabulldog Says:

    can’t finish around the goal

  33. imabulldog Says:

And BTW, One thing I have noticed with this team…

There is not much ”encouragement” on this team. Not a lot of high fives, butt slaps, excitement, the whole year our team has lacked that.

Except Phil, the only one who shows emotion usually…another vote for MVP 🙂

  34. leeearl Says:

Finally!!! We’re going after an offensive rebound…

  35. leeearl Says:

    We can’t shoot for crap…

  36. Brad Locke Says:

Plenty of wide-open looks for State, just not falling.

  37. leeearl Says:

Yeah, we’ve just hit rock bottom with our shooting the last 6 games…

  38. imabulldog Says:

    GOTTA knock those down

  39. leeearl Says:

We need to put another big man with JV, that is the last time I’ll say this…

  40. leeearl Says:

We officially look like a high school team…

  41. imabulldog Says:

    everythings fallin apart

  42. leeearl Says:

Thank goodness we will win the SEC tourney; otherwise, I would be mad 🙂

  43. mathistondawg Says:

for a minute I believed we could come back and win. OH well. looks like they are pushing it out for a huge road victory.

  44. leeearl Says:

Why does Stewart drive to the basket with his back?

  45. mathistondawg Says:

maybe stans should shave his head – rally, rally…………

  46. leeearl Says:

    need 5 more of those…

  47. Brad Locke Says:

Barry Stewart has this habit of driving into the lane with the ball and then not having a clue what to do once he’s in there. At 7:52/2nd half, Auburn leads 54-40.

  48. mathistondawg Says:

rebs took another loss on the diamond today too – big loss to TCU 19-13.

Ya know, talking about stewart or turner, they hit a big shot and as soon as they get the ball the next posession they throw it up – usually a brick the second time too.

  49. mathistondawg Says:

if turner can’t hit an uncontested 6 foot jumper, pull his butt out!!

  50. leeearl Says:

If that’s the case, we’d have to pull the whole team off the court…

  51. leeearl Says:

    Dee will be great….

  52. leeearl Says:

Man, we have given them I don’t know how many 2nd chances…

  53. leeearl Says:

What kind of laid back man on man D is this?

  54. leeearl Says:

Have a good night everyone, doing some family time….

  55. mathistondawg Says:

me too – I’m heading to eat mexican.

  56. Brad Locke Says:

What an ugly loss. Maybe it means nothing, but Ravern Johnson stormed off the court while everyone else met at midcourt. Very frustrated, I’m sure.

  57. mathistondawg Says:

Wow, no comments since brad at 7pm. Speaks volumes doesn’t it?

  58. dadawg Says:

    What can you say?
