ESPN.com says the game is delayed. What’s going on?

  2. markillas44 Says:

BL – any idea what that’s about?

  3. darkcooger Says:

Probably just because the tournament schedule is always cramped and games invariably run long. They’re playing now.

  4. markillas44 Says:

    playing ugly!!

  5. darkcooger Says:

I think they’re just excited and need to calm down. Raycom put a camera on them just before the UK/LSU game ended and they were bouncing around and laughing with each other.

I’m watching the game via a security camera that’s pointed at a TV, though, so I’m not getting the best viewing experience. I may be seeing something that’s not there.

  6. Brad Locke Says:

Six turnovers by State, and it trails 14-5 with 11:43 left in the first half.

  7. maxdawg Says:

Not enough State fans here though. B Jonson shooting keeping us in it.

  8. dadawg Says:

    Not just ugly, stupid….

  9. Brad Locke Says:

Varnado finally gets in the scoring column with back-to-back dunks, and State is within 22-18 at 6:38/1st half.

  10. Brad Locke Says:

Barry Stewart’s been sitting since the 6:38 mark with 2 fouls. State trails 36-31 with 1:00 left in the half.

  11. Brad Locke Says:

Halftime: South Carolina 36, MSU 32. Stats coming.

    Everyone still watching the game?

  14. Brad Locke Says:

MSU gets its first lead on Phil Turner’s dunk. Nice feed from Varnado, and it’s 43-42 Bulldogs at 13:56/2nd half. Barry Stewart has 5 points out of the break.

  15. goldendawg Says:

Yeah… Gotta be a foul on that last series somewhere

  16. markillas44 Says:

    c’mon dawgs!!

  17. msugirl Says:

    Like the default pic Goldendawg

  18. msugirl Says:

Ok – They are 2 points ahead!

  19. Brad Locke Says:

That’s three charges whistled on Kodi Augustus. South Carolina briefly retook the lead, but we’re tied now, 55-55, with 7:50 left in the second half.

  20. Brad Locke Says:

Stewart has three 3-pointers this half, and Bost’s 3 gives MSU its largest lead, 62-55, and prompts South Carolina coach Darrin Horn to call timeout with 5:48 left.

  21. Brad Locke Says:

State has made 7 of 9 free throws down the stretch here and lead 77-68 with :42.3 left. Fans are filing out.

  22. rwriffe Says:

wrap this one in maroon and white. Great game. Had a good feeling about this one at the half only being down four knowing we were yet to get going. Augustus has really stepped up but needs to get more under control with the basketball in hand.

  23. dadawg Says:

Good game DAWGS! I am really becoming a fan of Dee Bost. He played a great all around game today.

  24. maxdawg Says:

I was 2 rows up from Mrs. Stansbury. I high fived her. She deserves coaches wife of the year.
