Baseball is now officially at the midpoint of the season. And if progress reports were given out, you’d have to give the Bulldogs an F.
Sorry, but that’s baseball. Or make that a 3-12 record.
I know there are injuries. But even if that wasn’t the case, I don’t see anything better than a 7-8 mark at this point.
As for this past weekend, Vanderbilt completed the sweep with a 4-3 victory.
Next up is the Governor’s Cup in Pearl on Tuesday with Ole Miss. Any of you going? Then this weekend, it’s a trip to the Capstone to battle Alabama.
Also, looking at the last 15 SEC games, how do you feel the Bulldogs will finish? I’ll say better than 3-12. If not . . .
You know, the funny thing about this season is that MSU is just three games out of second place.

Why in the hell would any State fan want to go watch us get skull fudged by OM again?
April 14, 2008 at 11:19 am |
In cold weather on top of that.

Bad team + cold weather + ticket prices ($15-$25) = Not Going

The tickets are jacked up.

He had a great time, but the kid is scarred for life.

We had a good time. She improved leaps and bounds on her softball this weekend. Got her cleats, bat bag, and a helmet. The girls came up with two names for our team. The first, which is my favorite, is red and black uniforms with a black softball shaped like a heart and under it Oxford Heartbreakers. The second maroon, black, and gold unis and the team name would be Oxford Xtreme.

You mean BHBFB’s was taken?

I like the Heartbreakers.

Where does your little girl live?
April 14, 2008 at 2:01 pm |
Don’t ask the lady at Target that question, Gregg.
April 14, 2008 at 2:03 pm |
LOL! I think Farley acted out what many of us have always wanted to do. There’s a couple of places here in Tupelo I’d sure to do that with.

Pensacola. Her mom flies her up to Memphis one weekend a month.
As far as Target lady goes, I’m not gonna let some old bat who’s mad at the world because she is having to work on a Friday night get an attitude with me. I’ll just refuse to spend money in a Target ever again. If I ever can get in touch with the district manager, I’m gonna raise some serious hell.

Farley, I think he meant he’d like to take a stroll through their dressing area.

Please excuse Me!!! I realize that I have only the equivalency of an eight grade level education, or maybe a bit lower. So I really don’t understand the above comment.
Dawg fans get out and support your team, they are not dead yet. Those young baseball players read these blogs. What do you think that they will feel about their fans abandoning them.
